Mikaela pushed her hand back through her famous red hair and adjusted the white sunglasses on her face. She'd been at the beach for almost an hour waiting for Jarek to show up. She was sitting on the large black flat-top rock where she always was at the beach. Mikaela was wearing a pair of white capris and a loose dark green top. It was a bit chilly outside, but she was used to it with all the time she has spent at the beach over the last decade. Mikaela pulled her phone out of her pocket and flipped to an Ed Sheeran song before slipping t back in her pocket and adjusting the earbuds in her ears. She looked over her shoulder and frowned. Where is Jarek?

Jason walked onto the beach, wearing a multicolored tank top and pair of red swimming trunks. He had on sandals and a towel over his left shoulder, and walked towards the water. He could feel the cool breeze of the sea as he drew closer. Jason looked to his right, at the large rock, and of course, Mikaela was siting there. He didn't recall a time where he looked at the rock and she wasn't there. He made a peace sign and smiled her way, before taking off his sandals and shirt, walking into the water a bit. Jason tensed up a little, feeling how cold it was.

Mikaela looked up when a figure crossed her peripheral vision. She looked up and waved at the figure instinctively. So many people at camp knew who she was that so many people waved at her. She was not in the mood for some rando to try talking to her, especially those stupid brawny Ares boys. A relieved sigh left Mikaela's mouth when she realized it was Jason. He had been there for almost half of her time at camp, and was one of the few people who had reached that much time there. Kaela pulled her earbud out of her right here and called out to Jason, "Hey Jason, have you happened to see Jarek at all?"

Jason looked over as Mikaela started talking to him. "Nah, I haven't seen Jarek recently at all. I think he was in the arts and crafts room or something like that last I knew, and that was a week ago." He went further into the water. "By the way, is it true that at the cabin leader meeting, the topic of another dance was discussed? I heard that rumor floating around and thought you might know what's up there."

Mikaela groaned when she heard that Jason didn't know where Jarek. If she'd ditched her again to swap saliva with some grumpy boy in the woods again, she was going to flip. She was supposed to be the love kid of them two. She pushed her hand back through her hair and groaned and rolled her eyes when Jason asked about the dance. "Jarek and I are trying really really hard. There are just some stupid sticks-in-the-mud on that council. No one understands real fun." Mikaela whined.
